Director Bernard McAdoo started teaching in 1995 in West Palm Beach, Florida while attending Palm Beach Atlantic University. He attended PBAU on Soccer, Basketball, and Tennis scholarships. 1998 he began working under Emanuel Vanderpoole. A High Performance coach from France. Emanuel Vanderpoole, former Davis Cup player, coached Sebastian Grosjean to #6 ATP and several top 50 ITF Juniors. Bernard began his own after school junior program and summer camp in West Palm Beach. He's teaching included a large majority of High Performance training elements. This program was one of the largest junior programs in South Florida. Several of his players went on to play for Division 1 colleges on scholarship. In 2007 he and his wife decided they wanted to move to San Antonio, Texas to be closer to family. Bernard began working with Roddick Total Tennis which had 3 of the top 10 juniors in the world. This program was directed by Myron Grunberg from Canada. During his time with RTT he was able to study under Steve Smith. One of the world's most renowned technical coaches.  The McAdoo Academy of Tennis relocated to Houston in 2015 and has consistently produced state, national, and ITF winners. 

Assistant Director Paul Uribe is no stranger to the McAdoo Academy of Tennis.Originally from El Paso, Texas, Paul lived in San Antonio, Texas after transferring to UTSA for college. Once he graduated with his degree in kinesiology in 2011, he met Bernard and started working closely with him as his Assistant Director, improving his teaching skills. Uribe traveled around the state with competitive tennis, teaching juniors. He then followed the McAdoo Academy of Tennis when it moved to southeast Texas. Uribe helped to develop a solid junior program with Bernard McAdoo at Westheimer Tennis Club before moving to the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center, where he eventually ran his own high performance tennis academy. In total, Uribe has more than ten years of experience teaching tennis and training junior tennis players and adults. He's excited to team up with McAdoo Academy, again and coach some of the best players in Texas. 

Assistant Pro Andy Bruner, October 31, 1964 Fort Worth native that has been coaching and teaching tennis for over 35 years.  Was a top ranked junior in Oklahoma and Missouri Valley from 1979 two 1983.  Was a member of the Junior Davis cup squad in 1983 with players such as Patrick McEnroe and Richie Reneberg. First team all American in singles and doubles at Midland junior college in 1984 and 85.  Played pro tour in 1986 and 87.  Has been a USTA high-performance coach since June 2000.Has worked with several top local,national, and international athletes in his career.

Physical Trainer Rashad Sanders is a Certified Personal Trainer, ISSA Strength and Conditioning Coach and a Certified Baptiste Yoga Instructor focused on providing the highest quality training and yoga services. He has his BS in Marketing from Oral Roberts University and his MS in Recreation & Sports Administration from Western Kentucky University. With over 18 years of experience in the fitness industry and thousands of individual and group sessions under his belt, Rashad has a proven track record of client satisfaction, retention and results. He has opened, managed, operated college weight rooms as well as local fitness centers in Atlanta and Southwest Houston. He currently trains out of Drop Zone Fitness in Missouri City. Rashad has competed in amateur bodybuilding, men’s physique and local decathlon and Crossfit competitions. He has also worked and traveled on tour with junior, ITF, ATP and WTA level tennis players. His experience in athlete strength and conditioning, bodybuilding, functional fitness, yoga, mindfulness, weight loss and nutritional guidance, will help restore the balance in your life. He believes in aligning the spirit, soul and body and has shown this with his creative workout and yoga flows. Rashad and his wife of 10 years live in Missouri City Texas.

Physical Trainer Paola Romanos is a National Academy Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer and Advanced Sports and Exercise Nutritional Advisor from the Health Science Academy in the United Kingdom. Paola also holds a Yoga Certificate from Yoga West, a Nutrition and Healthy Living Certificate from Cornell University, a B.A. in Marketing, and an M.Sc in Computer Science from Bristol University. During her youth,  she played tennis competitively, but during the last twenty years, she has taught Yoga to children and adults and completed half-ironmans, Olympic and sprint triathlons, half-marathons, and swim runs under the watchful eye of ex-professional Triathlete Ricardo Probert. Professionally, her work focuses on the interaction between athletic performance and nutrition, developing a comprehensive plan for athletes to help them reach their peak performance with injury prevention, and increased mobility while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Nutritional Health Coach Dr. Ingar Abraham graduated from Cornell University in Bioengineering in 2001and obtained her Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering in 2006 from Rice University. She then worked as a cancer researcher at the Cancer Center at Mount Sinai Medical School and Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center at Columbia University in New York City for 6 years. Driven by her passion in food and nutrition, she later received her certification as a nutritional Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She has a private practice in Houston, and offers nutritional consultations in the areas of weight loss, fitness, wellness and diabetes for her clients.
